How to resize your RRB photo in 4 steps

  1. The RRB photo preset (320 × 240 px, 30–70 KB) is already selected.
  2. Add your photo from the gallery, or open the camera.
  3. Drag and zoom to set the frame; turn on clean-up for a white background.
  4. When the green ACCEPTED stamp shows, download the JPG and upload it to the form.

Frequently asked questions

What is the RRB photo size?

320 × 240 pixels, between 30–70 KB, in JPG format. Check the current RRB notification before you submit, because sizes can change each year.

How do I reduce my RRB photo to 70 KB?

Add the photo above, adjust the frame and download. PixFit sets the pixels and finds the JPG quality that lands inside 30–70 KB.

Is my photo uploaded to a server?

No. Resizing and compression happen in your browser. The file stays on your phone or computer.

Why does the RRB portal reject my photo?

Usually the file is above 70 KB or below 30 KB, the pixels are wrong, or it is not a JPG. PixFit fixes all three and shows a green ACCEPTED stamp when the file is inside the range.

What if the official size changes?

PixFit re-checks RRB notifications and shows the last verified date on this page. If your notification differs, use Resize image and enter its numbers.
